Biopsy Report -- September 28, 2004 -- Jean Ross This report shows that three separate biopsies were taken, shows no trace of cancer, but makes the comment that one of the biopsy samples was too fragmented to be definitive. Possibly a s This is a "risk" which Jean does not feel is risky -- so she has been willing to have biopsies without objection. However, on Monday, October 4, 2004, Jean had the long-awaited "consultation" with Dr. Mary Maish, surgeon who specializes in esophagus surgery. The outcome of that meeting will be reported separately -- but the surgeon did not think that further biopsies were needed. She recommended a surgical treatment which Jean and I knew about, but had to gather more information before making a decision. The decision has been made and the results will be reported in due course. Karl Loren
